This is Coranth, Rilrae's husband, and all his assorted accouterments!
He's a silver elf and paladin of Corellon, Father of all Elves.
Yes I know 2nd Ed. AD&D says elves can't be pallies, but if
we hadn't started straying from the rules then I would have stopped
playing AD&D years ago to spare myself the repetative boredom.
And besides, they took out rules like that in 3rd Ed!! So Niyah!!

Anyhoo, I slightly redesigned his plate mail for this, so it looks
more realistic that what's portrayed in the image of him with his
gryphon mount. James and I brainstormed up the idea for his character
while trying to come up with the most ironic pairing for Rilrae.
Funny how those "for the hell of it" conversations spawn
interesting things-- James liked the concept so much he decided
to play him! Coranth didn't enter the game with the specific intention
of wooing Rilrae, in fact she was a little miffed at his presence
in the beginning, but it all turned out beautiful in the end! Coranth
wears a circlet that mirrors the one Rilrae wears, though he usually
only dons it for special occasions. It was his gift to her, along
with a star diamond engagement ring, on one fateful summer evening
on Evermeet. ^_~ |
