Commission Opportunities!
There have been many people who have been waiting for me to run another commission auction. Well, I have some time to do another commission or two, and so I shall! BUT, I won’t be doing an auction. *grins* This time, you have a chance, more than one actually, at winning a commission from me! And there’s more, read below.


Firstly... a call for help: Brianne’s Art Raffle.

My good friend Brianne is holding a fund raising raffle to help her mother out of a very desperate and unfair situation. The raffle is for artwork commissions from 40+different artists, myself included, with over 50 prizes overall. Just ONE five dollar raffle ticket buys you a chance at one of the 50 different prizes, including a commission from me! AND you can buy multiple tickets! Second... a call for participants: Dragoness’ Creative Contest!

Some people mat be aware that I am running an art contest over at Gaia Online. Well, I’ve extended the deadline to the end of October and opened up the contest to people outside of Gaia.

How does that work, you ask?

Well, I've added alternative prizes so that people outside of Gaia will have a reason to participate, and a reward for doing so. The top three winners will receive their choice of the Gaia item (October, November and December letters respectively) OR a commission from me (color, ink, and sketch respectively). Sadly I can't offer an art alternative for ALL 34 prizes, (I think I'd kill myself trying @_@;; ) BUT, I'm willing to offer DeviantArt or LiveJournal subscriptions to people who are NOT active Gaia users that win the lesser prizes. The subscription duration will depend on the level of prize won, so the higher the prize value the longer the subscription. (precise details on this will be worked out later) Don’t forget hat the Viewer’s Choice prize is also artwork from me!!

The only hitch is that you have to turn in your entry in the thread at Gaia Online. Sadly I WILL lose track of your entry if you don’t (it’s happened already, sadly enough XP). This requires you to register at Gaia, so you can post your entry in the contest thread. However, it’s free to join and you’re under no obligation to use your account any further, with the exception of me using it to initiate communication should you win a prize!

And lastly-- don't forget-- this contest isn't just for art, it's for writing and other creative outlets. Whatever you're good at - be it scuply, plushies, flash animations, you name it, I wanna see it! Let's get it ON, people!!

Massive Update Step 2 of 3: COMPLETED!
@___@ I think I am BLIND!!!! *rubs eyes*

ALL of the very belated guest art is now up on the site for all to enjoy. If I missed anyone, and I'm sure I did with all the e-mail changes and hard drive reformats I've endured, then please resend your image and I will add it ASAP! I also apologize that my comments for each piece are a tad on the scrawny side... but after doing 60+ images in one shot you run out of intelligent things to say. XP But, despite that fact, let it be known that I treasure and enjoy every single piece of gift art I receive. I also did not have links for everyone who I've received art from, so if you have an e-mail address or website you want linked along with your image in the guest gallery then e-mail me and let me know.

This update was just guest art, so soon I'll add new artwork from myself, and update the collaborations section. The links section is sadly untouched as well, but that's at the bottom of the priority list. So if you've requested a link exchange and I haven't replied to you, it's not because I'm ignoring you, it's because I'm ignoring that part of my website entirely. >_>;;; *shudders and weeps*


In other news... I've moved to a new hosting service that is MUCH better than what I had before. [pimage] And because of this new fact, you can now all reach The Lair at the following address: lair.ladyofdragons.com!! Even though the old address works (www.ladyofdragons.com/~lair) it's only a forward and will save me some bandwidth if you update your links and bookmarks! Thanks!
